Child Tunic

Hand crocheted child tunic in 100% cotton yarn. The yarn is soft and holds shape well. Easy to care for.

Cerise ( 100% alpaca wool ) Length 16″ / 41cm. Width 11″ / 28cm

Turquoise cotton Length 18″ / 46cm. Width 12″ / 30cm

Pink cotton Length 18 1/2 ” / 47cm. Width 12″ / 32cm

Off white cotton Length 22″ / 56cm. Width 12 1/2″ / 32cm

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: All can be gently washed in  cold or tepid water in a machine or preferably by hand in gentle detergent. All are colourfast but add some vinegar to the rinse cycle to prevent any colour runs and keeps fibres soft and flexible.

Air dry preferred or in machine use wool dryer balls (in household category) to speed up drying time and keeps fibre integrity.

The industrial revolution and high volume manufacture of yarn brought many new colours and grades of yarn to a growing population. Originally processed yarn, wool, cotton, fabric was dyed with plant material but the advent of industrialization chemicals came into force, now used widely in the manufacturing process.
